WELLINGTON, Last Night (OC).—The Government has received its biggest haul of conscience money for a long time and in tonight’s Gazette is published a list totalling £ll7 7s 6d, which is acknowledged as being forwarded by “persons unknown.” The Land and Income Tax Department benefited most, receiving 10 payments totalling £BB 10s. The largest of those amounts was £4O.
