King To Unveil Tablet In Main Hall Of Festival Of Britain
LONDON, Sept. 8 (Rec. 7 p.m.).— The King has agreed to unveil a commemorative tablet in the main foyer of the Royal Festival Hall on the evening of May 3, 1951, when the Festival of Britain will be officially opened. The principal orchestras and choruses of London and the Royal School of Church Music have been invited to arrange choral and orchestral items suitable for the occasion.— (N.Z.P A.)
