COMPETITIONS SOCIETY SPECIAL CUPS, MEDALS AND TROPHIES

Indicating that the city of Wanganui was very much behind the Wanganui Competitions Society i n its revival of competitions, a long list of special cups, trophies and prizes was made available for presentation to the successful comnetitors.. Most of these were collected by a member of the executive, Mrs. J. Chcsswas, Okoia. The list of winners was made available yesterday by the secretary, Mr. L. M. Hallas. He paid a high tribute to the assistance the society nad received from Mrs. Kilner, who had been standing by as a pia.iiste all the competitions for dancing compelftors should they require one. The special awards donated to the society were won by competitors as named in the following list:— SCHOLARSHIPS. Wanganui Competitions Society’s Scholarship, value to £l2 12s, piano section, 17 to 20 years: Maurice L. Collier (Wanganui). Mrs. A. C.
