R.A.F. DAKOTA CRASHES; NINE LIVES LOST
SINGAPORE. Sept. 3 <Recd. 8.20 p.m.)—An RAF Dakota, carrying 10 passengers and crew, crashed at sea. The only survivor, Major David Lowther. was picked up by HMS Morecambe Bay after 20 hours in the water, being kept afloat by a “Mae West.”—Reuter.
