Auckland Wins Major Canterbury Hockey Tourney
CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night ■ The final matches of the Canterbury Hockey Association’s centennial tournament were played today in fine hut cold weather. The ground was in fair order. In a fast, interesting game. Auckland beat Wellington for the major tournament trophy by four goals to I wo. In the final of thp minor tournament Wairarapa easily beat South Canterbury by four goals Io nil. In the primary schools’ tournament, for the Match Cup, North Otago heat i Wairarapa in a close, interesting game, by two goals to one.
