Maori Golf Tourney
DANNEVIRKE, Yesterday (PA)— The New Zealand Maori golf championships concluded after a very successful tournament. The men’s championship was won for the third year in succession by T. P. Jones (Taumarunui) who defeated L. Gray (Otaki) 3 and 1. The women's champion, Mrs. Hape (Dannevirke) defeated Mrs. L. Adsett (Raupunga )one up at the 19th. The Tutepaki Shield was won by Gisborne No. 1 team—Messrs. P. Kaua and G. Farmer, Mesdames P. Paua and L. Ngata.
