TO CORRESPONDENT. Inquirer.—The Regent Theatre was opened in March, 1929, and was built as a picture theatre. Opera boxes were never intended and were never installed. What appear to be boxes are concealed lighting recesses and have not been used for any other purposes. Some alterations have been made since the theatre was built, including elimination of the orcheslr.nl well. This information is from the man who built the theatre.-—“S.” WORDS NOT TO BE USED.
