Seven Wanganui Players IN N.I. Minor Soccer Team
Seven Wanganui soccer representative players have gained places in the North Island Minor Association team to play the South Island Minor Association team in Wellington on Saturday, September 9. The sole selector, Mr A. Houston (Wanganui), announced the team on Saturday after the Brown Shield match. The team is as follows: — Goal, F. Spence (Manawatu); right full-back, K. Patterson (Wanganui); left full-back, P. Hall (Manawatu); right half, T. Methven (capt., Manawatu); centre half, A. Kendrick (Wanganui); left h aW . R- BellChambers (Hawke's Bay); outside right, J. Mutimer (Wanganui); inside right, J. Scott (Wanganui); cenre forward, G. Wellwood (Wanganui); inside left, J. Kidd (Wanganui); outside left. A. Kidd (Wanganui). Reserve, C. F. Smith (Hawke's Bay).
