Women’s basketball matches played in Wanganui on Saturday resulted:— Seniors: Past Students 15 v Star. 7 X.T.C. 28 v Waverley 10, St. Mary's 34 v Nga Toa 4. Senior B: Technical A 9 v Collegians 27, Relax 14 v T.O.G. 15, College A 15 v St Mary’s 14. Juniors: Hinemoa 14 v United 19, Chilco 9 v Kai Iwi 12, Collegians 7 v Students 5, College B 13 v St. Mary's 13, Nurses 18 v Technical C 7, A-D.W. a win by default. Third grade: F. and T. 21 v Clothing Coy 11, Rima Whakarua 20 v Technical E 4, Roberta 24 v Junior Labour League 11, Y.W.C.A. 11 v Hannahs 20, Socialsec 12 v Queen's Own 10, Zemba, Aotea, Woolworths, Knox and Waverley all won by default. CLUB GAMES OFF. Because of the New Zealand tournament, no club games will be played next Saturday. Instead, the jiinior and third grade representative teams will play Hastings.
