Manawatu Loses N.Z. Hockey Shield
PALMERSTON NORTH, Last Night (PA). —Manawatu lost the New Zealand hockey shield to Canterbury on Saturday by one goal to nil. Canterbury (Hanna) scored in the first half and though Manawatu held a territorial advantage in the second spell were unable to break the solid defence.
