It is as hard for the rich man to enter Heaven as it is for the poor to remain on earth. SOVND TIP A friend has written asking us whether we believe in fortune telling. We don’t! But we have vivid recollection of a rather National fortune teller telling us that on January 1 each year we would wake up with a sore head! FROSTS! "Worst frost Wanganui has ever had," announced a resident of long standing yesterday. We replied that that was quite possible, but what was it like at Waiouru? We have it on good authority that men who dress for dinner at Waiouru don’t need to worry about a laundry. T>:y get their starched fronts maintained permanently by the frost! Old soldiers will vouch for the accuracy of that!
