W.D.F.F. Provincial Holds School For Officers

At a successful school-for-oflicers held by the Wanganui provincial executive of the Women’s Division of Federated Farmers, there was an attendance of about 25 office-holders and members of branches in the distiict. The Mayor, Hon. W. J. Rogers, gave a most informative address on chairmanship during the morning session. He was introduced by the provincial president, Mrs. D. R. Jackson, of Waverlej. Mrs. J. A. Harris, of Turakina, president of the Wellington Central provincial executive, presided and speakers in the afternoon were Mrs. O B. Hawken (Whangaehu branch) on the duties of a president; Mrs. G. Gardner (Okoia), for the vice-presi-dents’ office, Mrs R. V. Brown (Wanganui), a secretary’s responsibilities; Mis. D- F. Frederick (Whangaehu), the provincial treasurer, the treasurer’s duties; and Mrs. Bland (Okoia), who spoke from a member’s > oint of view. Mrs. W.
