Radio Announcers With Oxford Accent
LONDON, June 16 (Reed. 6 pm).—A paragraph appeared in a British national newspaper recently, stating that New Zealand wanted radio announcers with an Oxford accent. One result has been that New Zealand House has six letters irom people offering their services, five people called to see the acting-High Commissioner and three more have telephoned.—N.Z.P.A.
