DUNEDIN, Last Night (PA).—The Dunedin Jockey Club opened its winter meeting on Saturday in fine but cold weather before a good attendance. The track provided first-class going. The double was won by the i stablemates Western Front and Gold King, both owned by Mr G. J. Barton and trained by J. W. Pankhurst at Wingatui. The winning combination returned £69 12s for £l.
