OTTAWA, .lune 1. A huge forest lire which is being fought today has already destroyed more timber land than did all the Nova Scotia fires in 1949. It has eaten up 15,000 acres of spruce about 60 miles north of Halifax. A sudden change of wind saved two villages in the path of the flames. Six major tires are raging on a 200-mile front.
