West Indies Strongly Placed Against Somerset
LONDON, June I.—The West Indies is in a strong position against Somerset. Ramadhin’s spinners wrought havoc among the Somerset batsmen and the side was all out for 177—90 runs behind the West Indies total. Worrell and Walcott completely dominated play when the West Indies ba'tted the second time. Each scored a century in a third-wicket partnership of 213. Neither offered the semblance of a chance.
