Rugby team slips will no longer be filled in in alphabetical order. Following a letter from the Marist Club, the management committee of the Wanganui Rughy Union decided last night that the slips be filled in in order of position on the playing field, starting from the full-back. The Marist delegate (Mr. B. Clapham) said filling i team slips in alphabetical order is a work of a>t Filling in in the way his duh suggested was only common sense, he said. Team slips count in awarding points for the Gordon Thompson Memorial Shield.
