MORE THAN £750 FROM POPPY DAY APPEAL
With a few returns still to come, the Wanganui Returned Services Association’s 1950 Poppy Day appeal has realised more than £759, stated the secretary (Mr. E. Barnett) yesterday. This amount Is well above the previous record amount of £632 12s 9d, which was collected last year.
