K. Forsythe Breaks West Coast Long Jump Record
With a jump of 22ft. 61in., K. Forsythe established a new West Coast record for the long jump at a twilight sports meeting conducted by the Wanganui Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club at Cook's Gardens last night. Forsythe, who is in training for possible inclusion in the New Zealand Empire Games team has been showing good form during the past few weeks and should have a good chance of gaining selection in the team either for the hop, step and jump or the long jump.
