LONDON POWER WORKERS VOTE TO RESUME WORK
LONDON, Dee. 15 (Rec. 11 pm) —Nearly 1600 striking maintenance workers at Barking power station voted to return to work today. This is the first break in the power strike that has hampered London transport and industry for the last two days. Strikers at the other three affected plants are to meet this morning to consider a baek-to-work appeal by union leaders.— Reuter.
A later message says they .also voted to return to work.
