Old Piers Demolished.

The piers of the old railroad bridge across the Whangaehu River had been demolished in a very satisfactory way and the Railways Department should be thanked for its efforts, said Mr L. A. Mackintosh (Whangaehu) at the (monthly meeting in Marton yesierday ’of the Rangitikei Catchment Board.
