W.G. Ward Winner Of Castlecliff Golf Club's Medal Match
With the course in excellent order and with weather conditions almost perfect, some good scoring was recorded at the Castiecliff Golf Club last week-end. W. G. Ward, with a net 70 won the weekly trophy, on the count back from C. F. Birch, also net 70. Other good cards handed in were H. E. Crane, net 71; F. Higgins and W W. Dickson, net 72; W. Shardlow, I V. Shepherd, L. A. Simpson, A. Mitch e’l, P. J. Smith, I. R. Brown, E. N Webby, all net 72; E. Benson, L. ’? Thomas, J. Brighton, net 74. Next week-end a bogey match will be played and the best, card over the two days will be accepted.
