THREE KILLED, 20 HURT IN AIR CRASH
NEW YORK. Dec. 12 (Recd. 11.20 p.m.)—The pilot, co-pilot, and one passenger were killed when a DC3 airliner crashed in the Potomac River, Washington, tonight. The other 20 occupants of the aircraft—l 9 passengers and one member of the crew—survived—survived, but most of them were admitted to hospital in a critical condition. The aircraft flew around for an hour |in thick fog before making a landing attempt It was located in shallow water and mud about half a mile from the airport
