Alexander Scholarship Awarded To Pupil At Ohakune School
Acting on the recommendation of its senior inspector of schools, Mr. Johnson, the Wanganui Education Board, at its monthly meeting yesterday, decided to award the Alexander Scholarship for 1950 to Colin Mitchell, who is in his third year of post-prim-ary work at the Ohakune District high School. He was the only applicant. The Haslam Wood Memorial Scholarship has been awarded to John Charles Cleaver, Mataroa.
