The company, comprising 28 girls, were all on parade, and to witness the ceremonial were 30 adults — parents and friends of the girls, members of the Waitotara Losal Association and Waitotara Scout Troop. The company meeting commenced with roll call, followed by enrolment, games and songs, and to conclude, supper, served by Mrs I. Parsons (president) and members of the local association, assisted by parents ot the girls. Miss E. Brown, District Commissioner, Wanganui, enrolled the girls, and Miss I. Cook, District Captain, assisted. A party of Guides from Gonville Company, B. Rosser, P. Mackley and A. Barker, provided the colour party. Great credit is due to the efforts ol Miss B. Warner, captain of the Waitotara Girl Guide Company, in getting so many of the girls ready foi their enrolment. The company looked very smart in their new um’mmis, complete with Guide beretsand gieen and gold gingham ties.
