BRISBANE, Dec 12 (Recd 9 pm).—Dazzlingly high prices paid for wool has given Queensland a record wool cheque for £17,686,604 from sales in the first half of the T 949-50 season. The last sale beat all records for a single auction, and netted more than £5,0000,000 with an average price of 64.5 d a lb. or £B3 13s lOd a bale for greasy wool.
