Indian-U.S. Co-operation Essential To Peace
NEW DELHI, Dec. 12 (Recd 10 pm) Co-operation between the peoples of India and America was essential in the interests of World Peace progress, Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee, Minister of Industry and Supply, declared today at the inauguration of the India-America’ conference. The conference is being held under the joint auspices of the Indian Council of World Affairs and the American Institute of Pacific Relations. Dr. Mookerjee ’Said: "Ideologically we stand for a re-emergence of Asia as a force in world politics for the ending of colonial rulg in any part of the world and the establishment of true equality and harmony. With such a policy we can hope and work in full co-operation, not only with the United States but with all who are pledged tc the ideals of the United Nations.”
