Wanganui Ladies’ Choir Christmas Party
A very happy evening was spent recently in Dustin's reception room by the Wanganui Ladies' Choir and friends to mar> the close of the year’s activities. Entertainment was varied, games and competitions being interspersed with vocal items and carols. Also included in the programme was a clever conjuring act by Mr Romsoman. After supper good wishes and Christmas greetings were voiced by the president, Mrs H. Brook, and the conductor, Mr Gordon Saunders, the singing of “Auld Lang Syne” bringing a very enjoyable evening to a close. The choir s final activity will be a broadcast from the local station of Benjamin Britten’s “Ceremony of Carols.”
