Former Chaffeur Leaves £253,000 Estate
MELBOURNE, Nov. 25. A former chauffeur, aged 67, who i onunit le.l suicide last nr nth in a luxurious Toorak home, left an estate worth £253,000. Burn in Manchester, Mr. Ernest Bradshaw came Io Australia as a young man and beua oe chauffeur to the wealthy shipping magnate. Mr. Walter Howard Smith. Mr. Smith died soon afterward and in 1923 Mr. Bradshaw married Mrs. Smith. A year later a daughter was horn to the couple. The wife committed suicide in 1925, and the daughter died during an operation for appendicitis. Most ef ifs estate is left to relatives in England.
