RUSSIA SAID TO BE OUT TO MAKE CHINA SOVIET NO. 1 SATELLITE
PARIS, Nov. 8 (Rec. 6 pm).—The Paris weekly journal, “Du Dimanche" publishes an article under a Peking dateline which says that Stalin has given the former Russian For tin Minister, M. Molotov, “a delicate mission of making General Maotsetung's China the number one satellite,” says the United Press. According to the article, Molotov spent several months in Mukden recently, conferring with the Chinese Communist leaders and organising details of a new political framework The article also says Molotov’s visit has resulted in a decision to launch a five-year plan for China and a trade treaty, which will be signed soon. It adds that thousands of Russian technicians have been ‘sent to Communist China to direct civil administration, army, police and air force.
