N.S.W. Beats West Australia In Sheffield Shield
SYDNEY, Nov 8 (Recd 7.25 pm). Miller’s brief captaincy of New South Wales in two matches was distinguished by two outright wins, when in a Sheffield Shield match West Australia’s last four wickets swiftly fell on a crumbling wicket at the Sydney cricket ground today. Miller bowled Kessey, who wore a batting glove over a fractured finger. Puckett, had an injured hand slit while fielding yesterday.
