SOCIAL AND PERSONAL. Mrs. C. A. Stewart, Taihape, was a recent visitor to Hamilton. Mrs. T. Brydone, Airport Road, has returned fdom a visit to Napier. Miss Buckingham, matron of the Public Hospital is visiting Whangarei. Mrs. J. Patterson, Ingestre Street, returned from a visit to Napier. Dr. Helen Deem and Miss S. Lusk, of Dunedin, medical adviser and nursing adviser respectively to the Dominion Council of the Plunket Society who arrived in Wanganui on Monday, left yesterday on their return south. Engagements RAVEN—MORMAN.—Mr. and Mrs. W. Morman, Pukepapa Road, Marton, have pleasure in announcing the engament of their only daughter, Clare Stuart, to Clifford John, elder son of Mr and Mrs. J. F. Raven, Taranaki.
