Leander Has Ended Her Active Career
AUCKLAND, Last Night (PALNew Zealand’s wartime cruiser, Leander, has ended her active career to become Naval guinea pig at the English dockyard of Devonport. She is being prepared for ship target trials which are to lake place at Loch Striven in the Firth of Clyde early next year. When they are completed she will go to the shipbreakers.
