Man Dies From Injuries When Thrown From Horse
INVERCARGILL, Last Night (PA). —As the result of injuries when he was thrown by his horse, Alexander Rennide Porteous, aged 42, a farmer of Paravva, died yesterday morning He was found in an unconscious condition by the side of the road near his farm and died before medical aid could be obtained. It is thought that Mr. Porteous must have lain unconscious by the roadside lor some time before being found by a passer-by. Mr. Porteous is survived by his wlte.
