MUCH TERRORISM IN ALBANIA IS REPORTED

BELGRADE, Nov. 6 (Recd 6 pm) “Widespread terrorism,” in Albania was reported today by the Belgrade radio, in a broadcast said to be based on statements from refugees who fled to Yugoslavia to escape hardships, possible imprisonment or death. The account came two days after a Yugoslav Note denounced Albania for failing to live up to conditions of the Mutual Friendship Treaty. The radio said Albanian terrorism has increased steadily, particularly among those suspected of sympathising with Marshal Tito’s campaign for "equal rights” in the Communist circle.

With scant contacts between Albania and the West there is little direct possibility of measuring the political sentiment in Albania. It is probable there is growing resentment against the Russian-dominated regime there. According to refugees there is a curfew from 6 p.m. in the border areas.
