AUCKLAND, Last. Night (PA).— The Auckland Racing Club's midspring meeting commenced on Saturday in warm overcast weather. Rain set in after the fourth race and the track, which was good at the outset, became heavy towards the end. The attendance was 18.000, compared with 19.500 last year.
