Mrs. Sheehy Wins Neilson And Castlecliff Junior Golf Cups
The final round of the Neilson Cup was played on Saturday by members of the Castlecliff Ladies’ Golf Club. The best cards handed in were those of Mrs. Barber, Mrs. Hogg, Mrs. Sheehy, and Mrs. Ekstedt, who all gained five points, tying for first place. Mrs. Sheehy gained the most points for the season and wins the cup. Mclntyre was second. Mrs. Sheehy has also won the junior championship Cup for the 1949 season. The Bonner Cup for C grade players was won by Miss Fawcett, who had the two best cards in. The senior finalists are asked to get their match off by October 30. Because the men players are holding their annual Labour week-end tournament there will not be any competitions for women members.
