RAETIHI W.D.F.F.
The July meeting of the Raetihl branch of the Women’s Division of Federated Farmers was fairly well attended by members, Mrs. Malpas presiding. Mrs. Somerville and Miss Jean McNie each gave an interesting and informative talk on their recent visits to Sydney. Competition results were:—Best bloom. Mrs. Bell 1, Mrs. Ward 2, Mrs. Bernard 3. Decorated eggcup, Mrs. Bell 1, Mrs. McLean 2, Mrs. Bernard 3. Two parsnips, Miss Solly 1, Mrs. Bernard 2, Three scones, Miss Tipler 1. Mrs. Bell 2, Miss Solly 3. Competitions for August will be:—Best 1 loom, three blooms, two potatoes, jar of plum jam. Hostesses will be Pipiriki Road and town members.
