Wrestlers O’Toole And Kenneth Draw In Pro. Contest
AUCKLAND, Last Night (PA).—A draw was the result of a lively professional heavyweight wrestling contest between Ken Kenneth, New Zealand champion, and Tommy O’Toole, of the United States, in the Town Hall last, night. O’Toole secured a fall in the third round, while Kenneth evened in the sixth.

Piper; Spencer Cup, G. Jones, F. Brooking, H. Blomfield, and C. Stewart; Gordon pairs, H. James and P. Tinney, and H. Kirk and J. Healey; aggregate cup, N. McLean. “The usual card evenings held during the year have been the means of providing that extra revenue which gave the club a credit balance. The thanks of all members are due to Messrs. Fisher and W. Healey and other helpers for their self-imposed and onerous task of conducting these evenings,” the report states. The green superintendent and greenkeepers were also entitled to thanks for the great work in providing such an excellent green. The report concluded by expressing the president's grateful thanks to all the officers and members of the committee for their co-operation and the ever-ready assistance so cheerfully given and which had helped so materially to make his term of office so pleasant. Election of officers resulted: President, Mr. L. W. Chisholm (re-elected); vice-president, Mr. D. J. Armstrong; secretary, Mr F. Beard (re-elected); hon. treasurer, Mr. W. Healey (reelected); auditor, Mr. W. Thrush; committee, Messrs. J. Healey- G. Thrush, H. McKay, C. Stewart, J. Watson, A. J. Fisher, D. Corby, A. Gurney, and L. Cresswell: selectors. Messrs. C. Stewart, A. J. Fisher, and V. Venimore; delegates to centre, Messrs. J. Healey, A. J. Fisher, and C. Stewart.
It was resolved that club competitions be run the same as last season with the exception that handicap pairs take the place of handicap singles and that all singles be 21 up.
It was decided that nominations for all official positions in future be taken 21 days before the annual meeting and nomination papers be sent to all members, returnable seven days before the meeting
The question of the annual subscription was discussed and finally it was decided that it be fixed at £5. Reference was made to the fact that the green had been placed at. the disposal of the Gonville Women’s Club for two all-day tournaments during •he season, and both of these had proved very successful. Grateful thanks for allowing the use of the green was expressed in a better from the secretary (Mrs. G. A. Turner) of the women’s club.
