Two New Arrivals In Britain Detained

LONDON, July 22 (Recd. Sprti).— Detectives inquiring into the activities of dock strike agitators detained three men who arrived at the London airport on Thursday night from France. Two of the men are understood to be officials of the Communist-led Longshoremen’s Union of the United States Pacific Coast, who attended a recent conference of dockers and seamen organised by the World Federation of Trade Unions at Marseilles. No charge is expected to be made against the men, but it is unlikely that they will be allowed to remain in Britain.—Special N.Z.P.A. Correspondent.
