An American woman with a practical turn of mind, has designed a clever pocket called the “Pocket Garter.’ Attractively designed and colourfully gay with lace, ribbon and elastic, widen conceals a folded purse that lies snug against the leg, provides a secret hiding place for money, key or trinkets. The “Pocket* Garter ’ is also made in pretty pastel shades of rubber so that the wearer may go surfing with all her most precious belongings hidden safely in her garter and secure from the water.
