“It Is Now Up To Us,” Says All Blacks’ Manager; First Match
CAPETOWN, May 30.—“ We have done everything possible to prepare ourselves for this match. The boys have worked hard. Every facility has been placed at our disposal. Now it is up to us,” said the manager of the AD Blacks, Mr Parker, in a special message to New Zealand on the eve of the opening encounter of the South African tour.
“We are going out to win and win well if possible. Naturally we do not expect to be at the top of our form; that will be attained after a few matches. But if we fail we will have no excuses.”
