Customs Revenue Customs revenue d from all sources at Wanganui last month totalled £42.303, which is an increase compared with that collected in May, 1948- when the total was £40,259. The comparative figures, with those for May last year in parentheses, are: Customs, £16.376 (£13,883); sales tax, £17,267 (£18,173); petrol tax. £SSS7 (£6478); miscellaneous £73 (£1536).
