Paddy’s Market
To enable the Wanganui Old Folks’ Association to enlarge its premises to cope with the increasing demand on their Rest Room service, a monster Paddy’s Market is being held in the Drill Hail all day and evening on Friday. Twelve stalls are being erected to display lhe large amount of goods of all descriptions that have been donated for sale. The project has the support of many other organisations in Wanganui, some of whom are conducting stalls stocked with their own goods. This premises a source of supply to the housewives of the city.
