WANGANUI SUPREME COURT SESSION

List Of Business Set Down For Hearing The second quarterly sessions for 1949 of the Supreme Court, Wanganui, which open next Monday before Mr Justice Hay, are expected to last a fortnight. Two criminal cases are set down for trial and two civil cases are listed for hearing before the Judge and a jury of 12. One claim is fur £11.141. There are also two civil cases to be heard before the Judge alone. Miscellaneous business includes three cases in which application is being made for prevision out of estates. Eric Rostrom Nicholson—Claim for £11,141 7s, injuries alleged received in course of employment. (Before Judge Alone) Bhikha Chhiba v. L’nka Ranchod— Claim against defendant as executor for £5OOO the penalty cf a bond under the Administration Act. Guy William Eric Ryan v. Bank of New South Wales—Claim for possession of business premises.
