Holmhock May Wrestle In Opening Bout In Wanganui On June 8
It is likely that when the Wanganui wrestling season opens on June 8, one of the professional contestants will be Eric Holmbock, 26-year-old New York wrestler, who is due to arrive in New Zealand this month. With a 56-inch chest, he is one of the biggest men to be seen in a New Zealand ring. He has wrestled in all parts of the United States and is noted for his skill and matchcraft. Peter Managoff, who recently opposed Pierre La Salle, is a tough campaigner, and is reported a good crowd pleaser. Bill Kuusisto, who appeared in the Wanganui ring last season, is report’ cd to have given the wrestling game best and is now coaching football learns in the States.
