Annual Meeting Of Ohingaiti W.D.F.F.

The Ohingaiti branch of the Women’s Division held its annual meeting in the Memorial Hall on Tuesday, April 26, Mrs. Hammond presiding ovei a good attendance. Two new members were welcomed and several apo l ogies for absence were received. The president Mrs. Hammond, read the annual report, which covered the various activities during the year and stated in conclusion it had been a very successful one. The secretary, Mrs. Dalziell, presented the financial statement, which was also very satisfactory. Mrs. Lowry paid tribute to both Mrs. Hammond and Mrs. Dalziell for their work during their term of office.

Mrs. Worsfold presented Mrs. Hammond with a basket of flowers and Mrs. Dalziell with a spray. It was decided to hold the annual ball on the first Monday in June. Election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows: President, Mrs. Hammond (re-elected); vicepresidents, Mesdames N. Miller and S. Stewart; secretary, Mrs. Dalziell (reelected); advisory members, Mesdames J. Stewart and C. Smith; provincial delegates, Mesdames N. Miller, S. Hammond, and L. Dalziell. Afternoon tea was served, Mesdames F. Fulton and R. Worsfold acting as hostesses;
