In ideal conditions for llugby. except perhaps that grounds were a trifle on the hard side, the Wanganui Rugby I nion's competitions were continued on Saturday. On Spriggens Park, in the late game. Pirates beat Technical Old Boys by Hi points to six. In the early match on the park, Waverley held Kaierau to a draw, nine all. On the Racecourse, Wanganui and Old Boys phiycd a strenuous match, which ended with honours even, three points all. The teams competing for the senior championship are now in the following order:
