"A Pity" The People Say, "She Is Not Able io Forget Convention

LONDON, April 30 (Recd 6 pm).Princess Margaret postponed a criiis ■ to the nearby island of Ischia because of rough seas, says the Associated Press Capri correspondent. She went to bathe instead at the Capri estate of Mrs. George Cerio. The Princess is enjoying herself so much on the island that if the weather holds she w ill not leave for Sorrento until Tuesday. The “Sunday Dispatch's” Capri correspondent says that when the Princess arrived in Naples Italians hailed her as “La Principcssa del Sorrisi,” —“The Princess of smiles.” Today, her third day in Capri, they called her “La Pau verina”—“The Poor Little One," because the whole essence of the fabulous island is that

1 everybody should throw off all conven- ; lions and put on ridiculous clothes , and the Princess is not able to do I cither. ' The “Sunday Dispatch” adds that J the Prince, s l.vos a good-mannered, careful life. Hounded by photographers, hemmed in by journalists, escorted everywhere by private detectives and members of her official party, she continues to spend a laigc part of her lime in the Mogano Tiberio Hotel, where she is staying.
