Wanganui Poppy Day Sales Increase
With several returns yet to be received, the Wanganui R.S.A. Poppy appeal has realised £603 This amount surpasses last year’s collection of £593. The R-S.A. secretary, Mr. E. Barnett, said yesterday that he ia highly optimistic about passing the existing record of £624, which was set in 1947. It is expected that the full amount will be known within a week’s time.
